We're a friendly group of people who enjoy the outdoors and who like to have a good time. Most of our trips are two or three day backpacking trips within a few hours of DC. The members of the Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club are avid hikers and backpackers. We love the outdoors and we get out and hike and enjoy the trails of western Virginia as much as possible.
